One of the biggest problems plaguing the non-traditional law student is simply finding the time to study. Here is a little tip that has really helped me out. Take some of the concepts you are studying and jot them down on some post-it notes. Put those notes anywhere you can.
For example, you could put them on your dashboard, at your desk at work, on your refrigerator, etc . . . . They do not need to be long notes but simply some of the concepts you are trying to learn. Repetition is a valuable learning tool, and the more you see these concepts the more apt you are to really “cement” them in your mind.
This is just a simple little trick that takes very little time but will really reinforce what your are learning. For the non-traditional law student time is very precious. Utilize it efficiently and you will learn more while keeping your sanity in check. Have a good day and hang in there.
